Wow, time has flown. I am sitting here on the cusp of Julien's big event -- his first birthday -- and I can't believe how much has happened in the course of one year. We are blessed to have such a happy healthy baby. Julien is always smiling and laughing (well, not always, but mostly!) and while I may gripe from time to time that he doesn't sleep through the night, that's the worst of it and I really can't complain. For those of you who haven't been keeping up through pictures and video on facebook (yes, it has pretty much replaced the blog as far as updates on life with Julien), he has really grown. Sort of... he's still a shorty, but he toddles around like he owns the place and I can hardly keep up with him! He went from those first few wobbly steps to off and running in no time at all.Last weekend we took him to get a haircut and in the span of 15 minutes he somehow went from looking like a baby to a little boy. I know in my heart though that he will always be my little boo.
